Capella University Review – About Capella University
Capella University is the brain child of a former CEO of the Tonka Corporation who wanted to create a university that people could attend from any location. He realized that online learning offers students the flexibility to take courses anytime from anywhere and help busy adults to earn their degrees.
Capella University offers more than 1020 online courses and 22 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The university is made up of 24,000 students from all 50 states and 45 countries. Capella University courses have specified start and end dates. Quarters are 10 weeks long and begin at the beginning of each month, with the exception of the MBA program which has 12 week quarters and begin every six weeks.

Tuition varies within degree program. Enrollment counselors will help students estimate costs and obtain funding. More than 75% of students receive some type of financial aid including: Federal Financial Aid, Non-Federal Student Loans, Scholarships and Grants. Tuition Reduction Programs include Transfer Credit, Veteran’s Benefits, US Armed Forces Educational Discounts, Employer Reimbursement Programs and Corporate Alliances.
