Many potential college students feel there is a negative stigma associated with attending a community college. This is simply not true when all of the advantages are factored, such as the open acceptance policy and lower tuition while completing your basic requirements.

The list above was devised by using the Community College Survey of Student engagement (CCSSE) and graduation rates listed by the Department of Education. The CCSSE is given to a sampling of students from each school that chooses to participate. The ranking is then determined by characteristics such as grade point average, retention, and graduation percentage. There are many other great community colleges to choose from. Some may even be located in your hometown.
