About Ashford Online University

Ashford Online University offers students a variety of degree programs that can be earned 100% online. Students can attend class and study on their own time 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Ashford University uses Blackboard technology to keep students connected and there are no mandatory log-in times but students must log-in at least two separate times per week in order to meet Ashford Online minimum attendance requirements. This method of earning a degree is very popular with busy adults who want to further their education while maintaining full-time employment and family obligations.

Ashford University does not currently accept student in Arkansas, Kentucky, Minnesota or Mississippi.

Enrolling at Ashford Online University

Ashford Online is committed to making adult education an attainable reality and its commitment shows in its many academic options it provides to its students. The university makes it convenient for students to pursue a college degree by offering up to 99 previously earned credits that can be transferred toward a bachelor’s degree.

Ashford Online also accepts Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) where students can apply for college credit from work and life experiences such as work trainings, workshops and other experiences. Students can transfer up to 75 credits of PLA. These two programs cut down on the time and expense a student has to invest toward earning their degree.

At Ashford University Online, classes run continuously and typically students take one class at a time all year round and the university offers enrollment opportunities every week.

Ashford University Online also offers some accelerated degree programs where students can earn their degree in as few as twelve months. As if that weren’t enough, Ashford Online students are also eligible for unlimited free online tutoring and academic coaching.
